Congratulations to Dr Heather Neilly

We are excited to announce that Dr. Heather Neilly, our Senior Ecologist, has just received an Australian Research Council Industry Fellowship worth $453,000 to continue her research at Calperum Station. Heather’s project aims to examine how best to restore and protect Eucalyptus mallee woodland, which is critical habitat for many threatened species.

The project is a partnership between Federation University, the Australian Landscape Trust, Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board, Department for Environment and Water, BirdLife Australia, Trees For Life (SA), NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, and the River Murray and Mallee Aboriginal Corporation. Congratulations, Heather!
