Stem Programs

Calperum Connect: STEM programs are designed to students in years 8 – 10 at a critical time when they are exploring their pathway through education. The 3-day retreat and related STEM activities will:

  • Provide practical, learning by doing in STEM subjects and relate this learning to real-world problems and situations such as water resource and global warning.
  • Broaden their view of the opportunities STEM learning provides.
  • Define a pathway to accredited training and an opportunity to explore a career in STEM related fields.
  • Develop a support network (e.g. mentoring and peer support) through the learning program. Experience STEM related cultural activities with Aboriginal Rangers and mentors.
